We do not have any candidates for intensive employment search so I will not post daily. What I will do is review what was covered in WHVRP Job Club as well as add some general content.
THAT being said: we doubled our attendance last week! We reviewed marketing materials and what do employers expect to see on a resume or cover letter. We also reviewed On the Job Training opportunities. Homework was a blank Master Application.
This Thursday, we have a guest speaker scheduled. John Pahlke from Aerotek is scheduled to speak about the value of working temporary assignments. I have worked with John to assist candidates with placements for about three or four years and I trust he will be able to convince you of the value of temporary assignments.
WHVRP Job Club: 1:30pm, Thursday. Check in before 1:30pm, late admittance is not allowed.
