This is your reminder, whether you need it or not: WHVRP Job Club is tomorrow. We have a guest speaker and I would like to double last weeks attendance if possible. Thursday, 1:30pm at the Employment Access Center.
Some people mumble: Cindy knows people every place! Well, not EVERY place, but I tried to build as many relationships as possible. When you get involved in networking, your network will begin to offer you job leads and access to other people. SO: the leads today are from my friends.
1. Prichard Communications Mac runs a list and usually, the jobs require either skills or education. While they are not often entry level, at times he has postings of internships. Don't write him off, some day he might have a lead just for you.
2. Aerotek John Pahlke will be our Guest Speaker on 05.17.2012. He will help you become aware of the advantages of working for a staffing company and how best to present yourself at Aerotek. Aerotek has several offices, not all of their positions are industrial. They do commercial and technical staffing as well.
3. Action Employment Services Tim Bulter is my contact person at Action. He is anxious to match veterans with employers. As a Business Development Manager, he knows what employers need what sorts of candidates. Contacting Action would not be a waste of time, in my opinion.
